The Simple Development Library error explanation
Project: the Simple Development Library.
simpleexplainerror
loads the given packages and explains the available errors matching the provided patterns.
For each error matching the patterns, the error code, error message, explanation and corrective actions are displayed.

Option | Effect |
-r, --requisite REQUISITE | package version requisite (defaults to the highest available) |
-p, --packages PACKAGE | packages containing the error definition(s) |
-e ERROR | error to explain; patterns are honored (default *) |
--help | display this help and exit |
--version | output version information and exit |
--examples | display some usage examples and exit |
To explain error ::Simple::Error::UNDECLARED-ERROR
:
simpleexplainerror -p SimpleError -e ::Simple::Error::UNDECLARED-ERROR
To display all errors defined by package 'foo' and all its requisites:
simpleexplainerror -p foo
To display all errors defined by package 'foo' version '1.*' and all its requisites:
simpleexplainerror -r 1 -p foo
To display the errors in the '::foo' package defined by package 'bar':
simpleexplainerror -d bar -e ::Simple::*
